About
The Double Trouble electronic news bulletin is published by the Australian Invasive Species Council as part of its Pests and Climate Change Project.
The bulletin is aimed squarely at convincing decision and policy makers of the urgent need to prepare for the combined dangers of climate change and invasive species, many of which are expected to thrive in the extreme weather events predicted under climate change.
We also hope our regular news bulletin will help increase awareness of the growing need to recognise invasive species as a major component of the climate change problem, and that they warrant more publicity, research focus, policy development, and funding for prevention and control.

If you care about the threat posed to Australia by exotic invaders, please join the Invasive Species Council. We believe we are the first group in the world created solely to lobby against invasive species of all kinds (as opposed to groups that tackle other issues besides invasives).
